Ajai Singh became a student of the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, late in life, coming to his first Kundalini Yoga class on the day Yogi Bhajan passed. After decades of seeking a spiritual path, Ajai had found the path for which he had been searching. Ajai brought to this path the same dedication he brought to his other disciplines in his life.
Ajai Singh began practicing law after serving nearly 10 years in the United States Army. Joining the Army after high school and serving as an infantryman, military policeman and a signals intelligence analyst, he served at a variety of postings in the U.S. and Europe, including the Third Armored Division in Germany and a national level intelligence agency. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Ajai attended Macalester College in St. Paul, studying communication, philosophy and the classics and graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Ajai attended law school at the University of Minnesota, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Order of the Coif. Since law school, Ajai has worked at a number of law firms specializing in trial work in general commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, construction and bankruptcy litigation. Since 2005, Ajai has focused his practice on Bankruptcy, assisting individual and small business debtors. Since 2008, Ajai has run his own firm, the Khalsa Law Office, specializing almost exclusively on debtor's Bankruptcy work.
In addition to his legal practice, Ajai is an IKYTA Level One Kundalini Yoga Instructor and a Sat Nam Rasayan Healer. He and his wife Gurbani Kaur also started Soul House Yoga, to facilitate KRI Level Two and White Tantric Programming in Minnesota.
Ajai has also been active in the Minnesota Sikh community, working with the greater Sikh community on both community and legal issues affecting the Sangat.
