 Avtar Hari Singh Khalsa

As President and CEO of Intuitive Century Enterprises, Inc., Avtar Hari Singh Khalsa currently works with both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations to help them adopt conscious business practices and evolve organizational cultures that support the highest level of success and fulfillment for each employee.

Since 2000 Avtar Hari Singh has focused his professional energies in the non-profit arena. Most recently he was CEO of 3HO Foundation, a secular educational 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1969. 3HO is dedicated to fostering personal inner peace by teaching a healthy, happy and holy lifestyle. It accomplishes this mission through its worldwide network of yoga centers and certified Kundalini Yoga instructors and through its International Peace Prayer Day event and global peace efforts. Believing that inner peace leads to world peace, 3HO has held its annual summer Peace Prayer Day event in New Mexico for the past 21 years. This event celebrates diversity and recognizes, through Peace Prayer Day Grants, those local, national and international organizations that have worked to foster peace.

Prior to leading 3HO, Avtar Hari Singh served as Executive Director of SikhNet, the first and perhaps most internationally recognized Sikh-oriented educational organization on the Web. He led the post-9/11 transformation of SikhNet as it performed a new role in educating Americans about Sikhs and Sikhism, and Sikh Nationals worldwide about their rights and responsibilities in the face of heightened travel security measures and changing global attitudes. Avtar Hari Singh also guided SikhNet's efforts toward advocating equal treatment for all Americans irrespective of race, religion, ethnicity, or culture and responding to incidents involving hate crimes, ethnic profiling and human rights violations.

In addition to his not-for-profit work, Avtar Hari Singh spent over 30 years in the for-profit sector holding such entertainment industry positions as President of Time-Life Television and Executive Vice President of Tandem Productions, Norman Lear's television production company. After spending 15 years as a real estate developer and investor, he joined Khalsa International Industries and Trades (KIIT), a group of consumer products and services companies, first serving as KIIT's Executive Vice President and then as CEO of Sun & Son, Inc., its computer software consulting company. While serving at KIIT, Avtar Hari Singh developed a profound interest in promoting the acceptance of spirituality in business and conscious behavior in the workplace - an interest that has significantly influenced his subsequent professional endeavors.

Avtar Hari Singh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree, with Distinction, from Harvard Business School. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Los Angeles, California, he and his wife, Ravi Kaur, currently make their home near Santa Fe, New Mexico.
