Fifth Annual Akhand Path Held in Honor of Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji

RagisSince his passing on October 6, 2004, the Fifth Annual Akhand Path was held on October 1st through 3rd in Albuquerque, New Mexico, celebrating and honoring the life and legacy of Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji.

Continuous reading, day and night, of the all Gurmukhi Akhand Path filled the house and hearts of all of those who attended. Throughout the 72 hours period, Langar was served constantly to the stream of visitors coming to listen to the holy Akhand Path and honor the event.

On Saturday morning, the continuous reading was fulfilled and at that time, a beautiful Bhog Ceremony began. Moving and enthusiastic Kirtan was performed by the Bhai Gurudeep Singh Jetha, who were visiting from Los Angeles, followed by the always inspiring and heartfelt kirtan performed by the Chardi Kala Jetha.

Sangat visiting from nearby and afar were welcomed  graciously by Bhai Sahiba Bibiji Inderjit Kaur Khalsa and the three children of Yogi Bhajan, Ranbir Singh Bhai, Kamaljit Kaur, and Kulbir Singh at the beautiful home of Kulbir Singh, which sits at the top of the Nob hill area in Albuquerque.

The Akhand Path was held in the bright and sunlit, spacious, top floor of the home, overlooking beautiful gardens surrounding the property.

At the conclusion of the Bhog Ceremony, Ardas was recited with prayers for the protection of the Sadh Sangat and our world, followed by the Guru's Hukam

Sangat abqtelling us that we are always and ever protected, and holy Gurprasad was served to all. Then, the Sangat gathered outside on the lawns to enjoy to a most fabulous Langar that the preparers claimed came together purely by the miraculous grace of God and Guru, and the Langar was truly divine, as everyone partaking of it heartily testified.
