Gurditta's involvement with community relations began in the mid 80's as a founding member of the widely unrecognized heavy metal band, Tipper Göre.  Drawing from either Divine Inspiration or just common sense, Yogi Bhajan determined there was little future in Tipper Göre and invited Gurditta to join the newly developed Federal Contract Division at Akal Security.  20 years later, Gurditta brings to Sikh Dharma the broad base of design and marketing experience garnered through various assignments at Akal Security, Yogi Tea and Spirit Voyage Records.

Gurditta lives in Santa Fe with his wife, Alessandra, his son, Siri Parmeshar (who spends most of the year at MPA in Amritsar) and his daughter, Amrita.  He and Alessandra operate two creative ventures, See Through Films and Prana Projects, from which they serve Sikh Dharma's marketing needs on a contract basis.
