We encourage you to come together as a community in the early morning of the Amrit Vela on October 9th, 2008 and pray together for whatever miracle is deepest in your heart. You can chant this Shabad for 2 ½ hours instead of doing the normal Aquarian Sadhana. Or come together as a community for chanting and a potluck dinner in the evening. In addition to your individual prayer, join together on this day where ever we are in the world and recite the prayer that Yogi Bhajan said over and over throughout his life. During this sacred time of year, starting 11 days in advance of Guru Ram Das' birthday, many sangats gather every evening at someone's home for 31 minutes of singing this beautiful shabd in praise of Guru Ram Das followed by stories of Guru Ram Das or sharing of personal experiences of Guru Ram Das Ji, and then langar.
