A Call to Actions to the UNITED NATIONS Summit on Climate Change.

Setting the tone and recieving the honor of opening the event with chanting of Gurbani Kirtan. S S Satkirin Kaur Khalsa, Kirtan artist, teacher and 3HO NGO representative, was accompanied by Terrence Pompey of Integral Yoga Institute of New York. Through singing, all were joined together in the unifying relation of music. We preceeded a very esteemed group of presenters and participants from the world over; Fiji, Cook Islands, Cambodia, Indigenous from Costa Rica, Hazon, Uganda Osukura, Nigeria, Arya Samaj, Norway, France, India etal.
These representatives of the various religious traditions from around the world gathered on this Day of Peace and reflected in story, song and prayer about humanity's collective responsibility in the climate crisis. Religions stood united in their call to the leaders of the world to "care for the EARTH AND HER PEOPLES" (http://www.interfaithdeclaration.org). In countries where peoples lands are disappearing the reality is that those most affected are the ones with the fewest choices. While those of the North be urged not to view the planet as a commodity used solely for human pleasure or gain of a select few.
