SDI Board of Directors - MSS Guruchander Singh Khalsa, D.C., Secretary-in-Chief, Central Domain
A student of Yogi Bhajan’s from the early days, Guruchander Singh was ordained as a minister of Sikh Dharma International in 1974. His work as a minister took on the dual role of working as a healer, and helping to build the physical infrastructures of the community.
As a healer, Guruchander Singh spent thousands of hours with Yogi Bhajan over the years, working and learning yogic-approaches to the art of healing. In 1982, Guruchander Singh opened the Guru Ram Das Health Clinic in Santa Fe, NM. In 2001, he opened a second healing center in Espanola, NM. Both of these centers continue to serve the communities of northern New Mexico today.
In the spirit of service, Guruchander Singh also undertook the remodeling of the ashram in Dallas,TX in 1975; the remodeling of the Altadena, CA ashram in 1980; and the extension of the Gurdwara in Espanola, NM in 1985. In 1990, he also helped build the Langar Hall at the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das ashram in Espanola.
Over the years, he has supported and fund-raised for other building projects in the Espanola community.
In 1995, in recognition of his service and dedication, the Siri Singh Sahib appointed him Secretary-in-Chief, Central Domain of the Western Hemisphere.
Today, Guruchander Singh continues his work as a healer and teacher. He brings a deep commitment and an awareness of the need to preserve and protect the infrastructure that was created by the community.

• Appointed by NM Gov. Bill Richardson to the New Mexico Board of Chiropractic Examiners, 2004-09
• Chairman of the Board, Amar Infinity Foundation, 2001-present
• Chairman of the International Khalsa Council, 1991-1993
• Wrote and publisher Tantric Numerology and Numerology books as taught by Yogi Bhajan, 1985-9
