Highlights and Challenges at a Glance
Sat Nam! 2008 was another successful year for Sikh Dharma International (SDI). Some of our highlights include: the launch of the Sikh Dharma International website; the creation of 23 broadcast-quality Siri Singh Sahib Gurdwara lectures shown on national cable TV; a Yatra to Takhat Hazur Sahib in Nanded, India to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Guru Gaddi; the implementation of a new ‘Next Generation' management team; and Dasvandh going GREEN!
Sikh Dharma International, like every non-profit, is experiencing a significant drop in donations due to the current economic crisis. Our team is working hard to weather the storm. We have created a robust and exciting Business Plan for 2009 that includes multi-faceted education and outreach programs to serve you better. We remain positive and with your continued support, we will stabilize and grow in 2009.
