The Seva Sadhana program features the core elements of Ashram living, selfless service (seva), and daily discipline (sadhana), as well the blessings of being surrounded by a spiritual community. Each participant joins morning sadhana with the Ashram community, and participates in at least 20 hours of seva a week. Sevadars are invited to join community activities, and we often have weekly workshops or activities specifically organized for the sevadars.
The program cost is on a sliding scale of $11-$27 a day or $300 a month, depending on what you are able to contribute.
The program is continuing to develop, we currently have three community meals a week, and sevadars are provided simple food staples to prepare their own meals or organize between themselves for communal cooking. As the program grows community meals will be offered more days a week
Currently we have space and need for sevadars. Fall / winter projects will be renovations of a second sevadar living space, kitchen organization, langar (community meals), plus whatever else comes up!.
