Let the Self Take Care of Things – A Meditation for Prosperity from the Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan

November 10, 2001

Part One

POSTURE: Sit straight in Easy Pose.
MUDRA: Hold your hands together in Sarab
Gyan Mudra in front of the heart. Begin by
interlacing the fingers, then extend the index
fingers up, pressing the palms and index
fingers very tightly together, thumbs crossed.
EYES: The eyes are closed.
BREATH: With Long Deep Breathing,
meditate on your breath, inhaling and
exhaling so deeply and completely that you can hear your own breath. Each breath should
be a voluntary, mechanical breath. 11 minutes.

Part Two

POSTURE: Sarab Gyan Mudra
BREATH: Do Long Deep Breathing in rhythm with the mantra, Sat Narayan Wahe Guru Hari
Narayan Sat Nam as recorded by Mata Mandir Singh, inhaling during one complete sound
cycle (2 repetitions of the mantra, about 20 seconds) and exhaling during one complete
sound cycle (2 repetitions of the mantra). 11 minutes.

Listen to Sat Narayan Wahe Guru Hari Narayan Sat Nam by Mata Mandir Singh here:

Part Three

POSTURE & MUDRA: Same as Parts One & Two
BREATH: Do a powerful Breath of Fire. Continue for 3 minutes, doing your best during the
last minute.

TO END: Inhale deeply, suspend the breath and exhale. Repeat 1 more time. Relax.

COMMENTS: In this meditation you must concentrate on your breath. The moment it starts
affecting your metabolism, you will start to feel light, then knowledgeable and then your
sense of security will start increasing. You should breathe, not your body! Meditate deeply on
your breath and increase your self-control. If the Self starts working, it will take care of things.
There is nothing more important than your Self. You have to change the frequency of your
psyche and change the degree of your expansion of consciousness. When you understand
and practice compassion, what you want can come to you 100 times! But you have to act
responsibly and consciously. Work. Be. Have more success in business and make more money
so that you can help more people. Give them peace, tranquility and grace. Trust your Self so
people can trust you.
