A Prosperity Meditation Using the Prosperity Mantra

This mantra fixes the mind to prosperity and power. It contains the eight facets of the Self with Har, the original force of Creativity. The four repetitions of Har give power to all aspects and provide the power to break down the barriers of the past. It converts fear into the determination to use and expand the reserve energy of the Navel Point. It invokes guidance and sustenance; all powers come to serve your true purpose.

Har Har Har Har Gobinday

Har Har Har Har Mukhanday

Har Har Har Har Har Udaaray

Har Har Har Har Apaaray

Har Har Har Har Hareeang

Har Har Har Har Kareeang

Har Har Har Har Nirnaamay

Har Har Har Har Akaamay

The four HARS are combined with the Guru Gaitri Mantra. GOBINDAY—Sustaining; MUKANDAY—Liberating; UDAARAY—Enlightening; APAARAY—Infinite; HAREEANG— Destroying; KAREEANG—Creating; NIRNAAMAY—Nameless; AKAAMAY—Desireless.

Yogi Bhajan Translated the Guru Gaitri Mantra as Follows

One who sustains us.

One who liberates us.

One who uplifts us.

Infinite One.

One who does everything.

One by whose grace everything is done.

Nameless and desireless.

Encompasses all.

Mudras to Use with the Prosperity Mantra

When it is chanted on the communication line of Mercury (Buddhi Mudra—the tips of the pinkie fingers and thumbs touch), it is for friendship and prosperity.

When chanted on Sun line (Surya Mudra—the tips of the ring fingers and thumbs touch), it is for health.

When it is chanted on the Saturn line (Shuni Mudra—the tips of the middle fingers and thumbs touch), it is for purity and piety.

When it is chanted on the Jupiter line (Gyan Mudra—the tips of the forefingers and thumbs touch), then hurdles disappear.

This mantra has a forty-sound resound system in it. It affects the seven chakras and the eighth, the arc line of the human (also known as the aura) in the five tattvas of ether, air, water, earth and fire. It has the strength of forty, such that it can penetrate through any negativity, any misfortune. It has the power to break through—no matter what. We have seen it. It has come through for centuries. There is nothing new about it. It is not very secret, but it is very, very sacred.

  1. Sat Nam,
I’d like to try this meditation for friendship, but I’m not clear about the time (11 mins?) or the eyes (closed or 1/10 open?)
Thank you for your kind reply.
