Task Forces
For the past few years a very important part of our Khalsa Council Meetings has been creating Task Forces in various areas of concern, with clear intentions for actions that we can cooperatively manifest. Between meetings these groups continue to meet to move forward with actions and visioning. The following are the current Task Forces:
Seva Task Force
Task: To develop the Seva Core Office to support and serve our global network of leaders in service to their communities around the world
LGBTQ+ Task Force
Task: To make Sikh Dharma more welcoming to our siblings in the LGBTQ+ Community.
Defining the Electorate Task Force
Task: To define voter eligibility for the SSSC elections. This task force brought forward a motion laying out changes to the electorate, which were approved by the Khalsa Council and which will be brought into effect for the 2020 elections.
