Tools and Meditations for Circumvent Force

The Yogi Bhajan Library of Teachings® is an incredible treasure of information.  KRI recently shared some previously unpublished teachings on the topic of Circumvent Force.

“We have six centers of God consciousness in the body -lowest is the rectum, second is the sex organ, third is where these two centers are pulled [at the navel] or where the two meet, then comes the heart-center where we can come out of the lower triangle or our animal nature, and there begins love, equality, and service. We have a center, neck center [or fifth chakra], if the consciousness can be pulled to dwell there, man knows the truth. Above these two eyes [there is] a triangle known as the third eye, or Ajna, where all the knowledge of the past, present, and future is known. But with this also, the love of God is so heavy that one does not show things as a show-off. Real humility, the flow of love and kindness, comes from that person’s each pore.

Lastly, we have the seventh center, the highest of all, the lotus flower with a thousand petals where you only want to know God and everything is nothing but God to you. Total equality. Your personality and ego are merged into that great Universal Personality in universal ego. While we live as a human being, we can bring together our physical, mental, and spiritual being and be a God-being… The Circumvent Force, the entire force which is the aura around us, the God Light that protects us, is the eighth living center or the current around us. And in the United States of America, up to this time, there was no place for the people to learn or to teach Kundalini Yoga. It is the grace of that Bhagavathi, the creative power of God, that now everyone is free to learn this great secret science.” Yogi Bhajan, 2/22/86

Listen to Yogi Bhajan speak these words from this lecture in 1986.

Here are two meditations that Yogi Bhajan taught in the early 1970s where he specifically mentioned the Circumvent Force.  He explains that the Circumvent Force is built in three main ways – by the prayer of the mother, by the prayer of a person of higher consciousness or by your own meditation and prayer.

  1. The first meditation is taken from the Survival Kit manual and is called Meditation to Maintain the Body Without Having to Eat
  2. This second meditation is called Balance in the Circumvent Force, which comes from Intermediate Meditation manual

Your meditation is part of your spiritual practice, your daily sadhana, which builds your connection to the Divine and expands the power of the Circumvent Force.

Sat Nam. I’m checking in with KRI about this, so please stand by. Will let you know once I hear back from them. Thanks! :)

Sat Nam, here is the response by Nirvair Singh of KRI, who also shared this kriya in his “Ten Light Bodies” book: The way I learned it and teach it is that you bring the head up each for the 26 repetitions. In other words you start in the head up position ( in neck lock) inhale down maintaining the neck lock, head on knee hold and exhale. Bring the head back up with the breath held out and start again.
