Dasvandh - our General Fund
A Powerful Tool for Prosperity
“Let us bow our heads in prayer and let us open our hearts. Through the ancient teachings of many spiritual practices we have learned about giving. In Sikh Dharma we give back a tenth of our day to the infinite by doing a 2 1/2 hour morning sadhana. We tithe 1/10 of our income by giving Dasvandh.
Dasvandh is the expression of our gratitude for the gifts received through this technology. By giving from the heart, we reconnect to that source, elevating our soul and fulfilling our destiny. When you give Dasvandh, you give to your own future. The psyche of genetic process creates a harmony in the molecular co-existence. When you give to Guru and God, you give with faith and commitment. This makes Mother Earth and Heavenly Father to commit to return back in many folds.”
Your support of Dasvandh enriches all of the programs, services, outreach and Dharmic education provided to our global sangat. Thank you!
Sikhs Feed People
Supporting Free Meal Programs Around the World, Especially During COVID-19
Sikh Dharma International’s Service Program, Sikhs Feed People, focuses on highlighting a central tenet of Sikh Dharma lifestyle, which is to promote equality through Langar or free kitchen/meals. SDI is dedicated to lending awareness and financial support to programs all over the world where conscious people are providing sustenance to the less fortunate in their area. One such program is Food4Kids NM (pictured here), which relies on donations and volunteered hours to pack close to 700 bags of food every week that are given to local kids who don’t get fed proper meals over the weekend. The Sikhs Feed People initiative also aims to offer support and tools for new communities wanting to provide free meals in their area. Your support of this program will go directly to grants that fund free meals or langar programs that are being sponsored around the world.

Plant a Tree for YogiJi
After making this donation available in honor of the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan on his birthdays and during his 20th Barsi (death anniversary), people continue to ask how they can donate in his honor. This is one option and another is donating rumallas to the Golden Temple (see below)
The Siri Singh Sahib loved all of the trees on his ranch property. He was very strict about trees not being removed without his direct permission. If anyone asked to remove a tree, whenever possible, he came up with another solution.
In honor of the Siri Singh Sahib Ji’s love of Guru Ram Das and his love of trees, please consider donating to a tree to be planted on his ranch property at Hacienda de Guru Ram Das. There is a long list of fruit trees and shade trees which the caretakers would like to plant to beautify the property. Feel free to donate any amount. As a reference, each tree costs between $60 and $300.
Siri Singh Sahib Rumallas
Rumallas Presented at the Golden Temple Annually in Honor of the Siri Singh Sahib’s Birthday
It was the Siri Singh Sahib’s wish that a new set of rumallas be presented annually at the Golden Temple in his name, to be continued after his passing. It has also been a yearly tradition to sponsor an Akhand Path at the Golden Temple on his birthday, which is dedicated and read in his honor. Sikh Dharma International fulfills this request every year in dedication and reverence of our teacher and to honor his legacy throughout time and space. Your support of this program allows us to continue this beloved tradition every year. Thank you for your support!
