This is a powerful way to increase personal prosperity and support all of the work of SDI. Sikhs Feed People Fund
Supporting Free Meal Programs Around the World
Sikh Dharma International’s newest Service Program, Sikhs Feed People, focuses on highlighting a central tenet of Sikh Dharma lifestyle, which is to promote equality through Langar or free kitchen/meals. SDI is dedicated to lending awareness and financial support to programs all over the world where conscious people are providing sustenance to the less fortunate in their area. One such program is Food4Kids NM (pictured here), which relies on donations and volunteered hours to pack close to 300 bags of food every week that are given to local kids who don’t get fed proper meals over the weekend. The Sikhs Feed People initiative also aims to offer support and tools for new communities wanting to provide free meals in their area. Your support of this program will go directly to grants that fund free meals or langar programs that are being sponsored around the world.
Camp Miri Piri Fund
The Spiritual Warrior Experience
Sikh Dharma International sponsors this experiential course that gives an in depth “Sant Sipahi” (Saint/Warrior) experience and a deep connection to Sikhi. Camp Miri Piri is a labor of love for the teachers who make this camp possible and give their time as a seva. Their sole motivation is to serve the community and uplift spirit.
Your support of this program allows these teachings to reach more participants and helps Sikh Dharma International keep camp registration costs extremely low so all can attend and experience Chardi Kala.
Thank you for your support!
Giving and Receiving the Blessing of Kirtan
Sikh Dharma International’s KirtanXchange program connects communities around the world with the experience of live Kirtan and provides mentoring and support for emerging Kirtan Jathas. Kirtan is considered by Sikhs to be the highest form of praise. Shabads or hymns are at the heart of the Sikh services, ceremonies and celebrations. We are so blessed to be able to share the Guru’s Bani with Sangats all over the world.
Your support of this program allows us to send more Jathas around the world to communities who do not have access to Gurdwaras or other live kirtan events. Thank you for your support!
