Anandpur Sahib

Anandpur Sahib, which means “city of bliss,” is a small town in northern India where Guru Gobind Singh created the Khalsa. Here, the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan built his home and established “Dashmesh Sadan,” a Teaching Center for seekers from around the world to gather and have an opportunity to learn and excel in the highest of consciousness.

During our time in Anandpur Sahib, we will stay at this beautiful haven. We will arrive for dinner on November 22nd and enjoy three delicious meals a day while we are at Dashmesh Sadan.  At Dashmesh Sadan, we will have yoga and Aquarian Sadhana in the morning or an optional walk to Takhat Siri Keshgarh Sahib to listen to the Gurbani Kirtan.

Anandpur Sahib is a spiritual and historic center for Sikhs.  It was visited by Guru Nanak, then discovered by Guru Hargobind, and the land was later purchased by Guru Teg Bahadur where he built his city. Guru Gobind Singh lived and meditated here, and his sons were born here.
