“Yatra is a holy journey.  We must go into the center, the heart center.  It is a journey on earth to one’s ‘Isht’- one’s higher self, one’s altar. It is a self-purification.” ~Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan

Sikh Dharma International warmly invites you to join us for the Guru Prasad Yatra to India – a heartfelt pilgrimage into the living legacy of the Sikh Gurus. This journey is an opportunity to deepen your connection to the Guru through seva, devotion, and the uplifting power of sangat.

Gather in Sangat, Serving in Seva

Our yatra begins in Hoshiarpur with a Samagam, a spiritual gathering featuring beautiful and diverse kirtan. In the company of an inspired sangat, we will join in prayer, community, and shared intention, grounding ourselves in the humility and spirit of service that are central to Sikh Dharma.

We will then join Langar Sewa, a dedicated organization serving meals to all, regardless of background or circumstance. In this sacred act of service, we experience the Guru’s message of equality, compassion, and love in action.

The Rare Blessing of Preparing Langar for Guru Ram Das Ji’s Birthday

From Hoshiarpur, we journey to Sri Harimandir Sahib in Amritsar—the radiant heart of Sikh devotion and the sacred home of Guru Ram Das Ji’s legacy.

There, we are humbly invited to serve alongside a devoted Jatha, helping prepare Langar in honor of Guru Ram Das Ji’s birthday. To offer seva in this sacred space, at such a blessed time, is a profound privilege—a true expression of Guru Prasad, the Guru’s Grace.

Through this seva, the heart opens, the ego softens, and we are given the opportunity to experience the sweetness of Guru Ram Das Ji’s compassion and boundless love.

It is an extraordinary blessing to visit this sacred sanctuary, revered by millions of Sikhs around the world. As a living center of prayer, devotion, and spiritual longing, Sri Harimandir Sahib draws seekers who dream of experiencing its grace at least once in their lifetime. To stand in its presence, serve its community, and immerse oneself in its sacred atmosphere is a deeply transformative gift.

Experience the Radiance of the Khalsa

Our journey continues to Dashmesh Sadan, the home of the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, and onward to the historic Gurdwaras that hold the living legacy of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In these sacred places, we will immerse ourselves in:

  • Kirtan — allowing the Shabad to uplift, inspire, and transform us
  • Meditation — attuning to the presence of the Guru within
  • Khalsa History — connecting with the courage, sacrifice, and radiance of our spiritual lineage
  • Sangat — deepening bonds of love, support, and shared devotion

As we walk in the footsteps of the Khalsa, each destination becomes an opportunity for reflection, connection, and spiritual growth. Every step of the yatra strengthens our relationship with the Guru, deepens our understanding of the Khalsa path, and brings us closer to one another as a sacred community.

A Journey that Transforms the Soul

The Guru Prasad Yatra is more than a pilgrimage—it is a spiritual homecoming, an opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Guru and experience the transformative power of grace.

This sacred journey invites you to:

  • Serve with humility
  • Sing with devotion
  • Walk with courage
  • Connect deeply with sangat
  • Experience the Guru’s grace

Through seva, prayer, kirtan, and fellowship, we open ourselves to the blessings that unfold when we walk together on the Guru’s path.

If your heart feels called to join this journey, trust that the Guru is already guiding your steps.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa,
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
