On January 22nd, Family friends and Sangat members got together to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Bhai Sahiba of Sikh Dharma, Bibiji at her home at the estate in Los Angeles. Bibiji was in good spirits, radiant and sharing moments, memories and good wishes with persons from all over the world.
Two celebrations came together, one in person and one online. In the early afternoon Bibiji hosted a kirtan program with Chardi Kala Jatha. A sumptuous langar was served afterwards. Later during an online event musicians and members from our worldwide community chanted Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur. Bibiji also spoke and addressed all the participants, thanking them for participating in the live stream and sending them love and blessings. Sikh Dharma International and 3ho International had the blessings of being able to participate in organizing aspects of this event. The gratitude and esteem in which Bibji is held by our community was felt and shown throughout the day.
