Here are the bios of the teachers for the SDI Academy at Summer Solstice:

MSS Hari Dharam Kaur Khalsa, USA

Hari Dharam Kaur Khalsa was appointed Chief Granthi of the Española Gurdwara by the Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan, who directed her to share teachings of sound current and Gurmukhi/mantra pronunciation.   Sikhs and Seekers from around the world have enjoyed learning with Hari Dharam Kaur, inspiring them to awaken their inner Guru.  The Siri Singh Sahib has said that Hari Dharam Kaur brings God on Earth when she reads from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib and that whosoever learns from her will be rewarded on Earth and blessed in the Heavens.

MSS Kirtan Singh Khalsa, USA

Kirtan-Singh Khalsa is a daily practitioner of Kundalini Yoga and Sikh of the Guru for 47 years, currently residing in New Mexico and serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Sikh Dharma International. He lived in Los Angeles and served the Guru Ram Das Ashram Community and the larger Sikh Community there for 40 years.

SS Dr. Sat Kaur Khalsa, USA

In 1991, the Siri Singh Sahib asked me if I would be willing to be Secretary of Religion for Sikh Dharma. At that time, the Ministry was a rich body of individuals whose talents and gifts were still fairly untapped. I initially helped Ministers embrace their roles as leaders of the Aquarian Age. I see each Minister as a unique “patch” of a quilt with their God-given gifts sewn together by the Shabad Guru to be able to cover the needs of the sangat and the world.

SS Dr. Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa, USA

(Ph.D., C-IAYT,YACEP) is Assistant Secretary of Religion for Sikh Dharma and an ordained Minister since 1973. She is a Medical Family Therapist and founding director of the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology, a non-profit with the mission to bring Kundalini Yoga into healthcare. She directs the 800-hour IAYT accredited International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Professional Training in 54 countries and coordinates outcome studies on the medical effects of yoga practice.

She brings Trauma Responsive Kundalini Yoga training to teachers and ministers in conflict areas throughout the world, supporting those recovering from traumatic brain injuries, adjusting to amputations, military rehabilitation, and returning to civilian life.

Dr. Khalsa’s Kundalini Yoga program for people living with HIV is featured in the book, Yoga as Medicine by Timothy McCall, MD. and her groundbreaking work in Kundalini Yoga Therapy is featured in the book, Yoga Therapy and Integrative Medicine: Where Ancient Science Meets Modern Medicine.

SS Satkirin Kaur Khalsa, USA

For over four decades, Satkirin Kaur Khalsa has devoted her life to expanding the consciousness of humanity through music and Naad Yoga, the yoga of sound. Having studied extensively with kirtan masters, she offers first-hand knowledge of the powerful meditative system of words and music called Gurbani Kirtan, which she imparts with insight and humor.

Using the Indian sacred musical format of rhythm and Raga scales, Satkirin guides us to healing the human body and mind through the power of the sound current. As a Kundalini Yoga specialty teacher in the Aquarian Academy, she delivers a comprehensive understanding of how to accurately chant. Through inspiring stories and vocal kriyas, Satkirin guides her students through the system of Gurbani Kirtan, which is a powerful and beautiful way to remove limiting thoughts and beliefs through cultivating inner harmony and grace

SS Rajveer Singh Khalsa, Malaysia/Singapore

is a Punjabi Sikh from Singapore who was inspired to practice Sikhi during his teens, when his mother sent him to a Sikh Youth Camp run by Sikh Sewaks Singapore. There he met a GurSikh by the name of Jasmail Singh Ji, who had studied with Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan.  At age 19, he started studying Kundalini Yoga and meditation.

Since 2004, Rajveer Singh has been leading Camp Miri Piris around the world (Singapore, USA, Canada, Australia and Malaysia).  Since 2008, he and his wife have run Chayo Studio in Malaysia which brings the teachings of Yogi Bhajan to people in that region. He also continues to travel and teach throughout Australia, South-East Asia and the USA.

Rajveer feels totally in his DNA that Siri Singh Sahib Ji blessed him and changed his life powerfully.  For this reason, he continues teaching Punjabi Sikh Sangat in South-East Asia and has steadily, through love, inspired many youth and Sangat to Sikhi and to the teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.  Rajveer is totally Grateful to Guru Ram Das Ji for this blessing.
