The Eastern Loudoun Sheriff’s Station in Sterling, Virginia hosted their quarterly meeting for the summer on August 21, 2019. Adarsh Kaur and Guru Amrit Kaur represented Sikh Dharma of Virginia at the meeting.
The station commander and deputies discussed a variety of topics, including the growing importance of school safety; traffic safety concerns; the prescription drug take-back program; self-defense and crime prevention; recent crime trends in the county and many other topics of concern as well as community services. The station commander, deputies and guest speakers engaged in robust and frank dialogue with community members throughout the program.
Adarsh and Guru Amrit were grateful for the chance to connect with the Eastern Loudoun Sheriff’s Station and to learn more about their structure and work in the community.
