We are excited to announce our first-ever photo contest!
During these times of COVID-19 and quarantine, many of us have been spending more time at home than in the past. Many Gurdwaras have been closed around the world, and the ones that are open are often operating with more limited hours and more restrictions. So creating a sacred space for Naad, prayer and meditation at home, whether it is a home Gurdwara or a sacred altar, is more important than ever before.
Creating this space in our homes encourages us to make time to move away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives and connect to the Guru and the Divine within us – whether it is for hours or even just a few minutes each day.
We have created this photo contest so that Sikh Dharma community members around the world can share these beautiful and sacred spaces in their homes, in the hope that it can inspire others to create a home Gurdwara or altar in their own homes!
The top-rated photos will be awarded prizes from the Sikh Dharma International Marketplace!
