Our eighth monthly Kirtan Jam Session took place on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Here’s a recap of the event:
- Japa Kaur from Mexico started off playing Jay TayGang, the 33rd Pauri and “Elevation Station”, a beautiful original song which she wrote.
- Sat Nishan Kaur from Chile played the Mool Mantra, Ang Sang Wahe Guru, Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur and finally, a beautiful song in Spanish called Virasana
- Guruprasad Kaur and Kirtan Singh from New Mexico played the Shabads Aap Sahai Hoa and the Narayan Shabad in honor of the 42nd anniversary of the Martyrdom of the Akal Takht
- Fateh Singh from Germany played the 3HO songs Flowers in the Rain and The Sikh National Anthem and the Shabad Satigur Daiaa Nidhi Mahimaa Agaadhi Bodhi.

We invite you to join these cozy Sangat gatherings, which take place the first Saturday of each month and are hosted by SDI and 3HO International.
They are generally three-hour events.

Meet the Musicians
Japa Kaur from US, currently living in Mexico
Japa began her journey with Kundalini Yoga while studying communication at Stanford University. Since then, she has completed her level 2 teacher training, has participated in Kundalini Yoga events around the globe and has become a regular at the summer and winter solstice gatherings. Now, over 25 years later, she is a leader in the community, teaching online and in-person through her “Kundalini Academy”, leading retreats and performing live Kirtan regularly. Gurprasad Kaur from the US (Hacienda de Guru Ram Das)
Gurprasad Kaur Khalsa has been blessed to walk the spiritual path of Sikh Dharma these past 41 years, by the grace of Guru Ram Das ji and through the guidance and teachings of the Siri Singh Sahib ji, Yogi Bhajan. Besides being a seeker of Truth, she is a Sikh Dharma minister and Kundalini yoga teacher, a wife and a mother, and gets great joy out of singing and playing Gurbani kirtan in the Guru’s court. She currently resides in Espanola with her husband Kirtan Singh and dog Luna.
Kirtan Singh from the US (Hacienda de Guru Ram Das)
Kirtan-Singh was introduced to Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma in 1977. He lived in Los Angeles between 1981 and 2021 during which time he served Guru Ram Das Ashram Los Angeles and the sadh sangat there. He has served as Minister of Sikh Dharma since 1985 and has been gratefully serving Sikh Dharma International as COO since 2019. He is blessed to play Kirtan whenever he has the opportunity.
Fateh Singh from Germany
Fateh Singh has studied Gurbani Kirtan extensively with Dr. Ustad Narinder Singh Sandhu from Amritsar, Master of Naad Yoga, Shabad Guru and Indian Classical Music.
Fateh Singh is a Kundalini Yoga teacher, herbal expert, and naturopathic practitioner specializing in psychotherapy. He is an instructor in the meditative healing art of Sat Nam Rasayan, Breathwalk, and Yoga Numerology. His services include training seminars, introductory and intensive courses in Germany and abroad, healing treatments, and numerology consultations.
For many years, he led product development at Yogi Tea Europe for Yogi Bhajan and has been involved in building the “Hari Tea” company since 2008.
For Guru Dev Singh, he supervised the Sat Nam Rasayan school in Europe for many years.
Sat Nishan from Chile
Sat Nishan Kaur is from Chile. She is a Kundalini Yoga instructor and a specialist in Children’s Yoga, Education and Parenting. She holds a degree in Education and is a Music Education teacher.
Sat Nishan is a singer and member of the musical group Sat Mantra, whose inspiration is to serve the meditative space through the musical arrangement of Kundalini Yoga mantras.
