The App
Use our Japji for the Aquarian Age App as a tool to learn or read along when you recite Japji. You can choose to read the Japji text in Gurmukhi, the English transliteration or the English translation. There are 3 audio recitations at different speeds to choose from. There is also an “1 lx repetition” feature, in case you are practicing the recitation of individual paurees. As an added bonus, the Aquarian Sadhana Mantras are provided in Gurmukhi, transliteration and translated form. This app is available for both iPhones and Androids.

Japji Sahib is Sacred
Recitation of Japji Sahib and any of the banis or kirtan from any portion of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Many call this the Sikh scripture, but to the Sikhs, this is their Living Guru. Therefore, it is treated with the utmost respect, and it is considered sacred and the proper protocol is to cover your head when reciting. Any materials with the written words from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib are considered sacred and the proper protocol is to treat them respectfully. For example, never place them directly on the floor and cover nitnems (prayer books) when possible.
