About Bibi Amarjit Kaur
Bibi Amarjit Kaur traveled to the United States in the 1970s to teach Gurbani Kirtan to hundreds of music students in the West. Trained in classical indian music from an early age, Gurbani is her life’s devotion. She continued her study and obtained both her Master’s and PHD in Classical Indian Music.
Today she is the most well-known female Ragi in the United States. Her voice and musical style is unmatched. The feeling of pure devotion and purity of the Shabad Guru form is present in all her performances. Gurudwaras across the country are eager to have her grace them with her incredible harmonium and talented voice.
