Oh God — beside you there is none —

You are the Creative One who makes things happen.

The reliance of the soul is in Your strength and power.

Nanak, ever and always meditate on the One God.

The Supreme Lord God is the Giver — Above All.

Your force is that You are the mainstay of mankind. (Pause)

You Are —You are — the Entity of Substance —

Inaccessible, Lofty, Infinity, and Unfathomable . . .

Beyond the effects of fear and pain are those who serve You.

To sing Your praises, Nanak, is a blessing from the Guru.

Those with the vision know that is Your form.

Oh God incomparable and exquisite — treasure of virtues.

The servant of God’s meditates, meditates, meditates . . .

Their destiny Nanak is that they be received by God.

To be a sacrifice unto God is their focus.

To be in their company is to be liberated from this world.

Says Nanak, my longing is for the perfect Lord.

And for the saintly ones, I seek the dust of their feet.
