The Dear Lord is my Mother, the Dear Lord is my Father;
The Dear Lord is my cherisher.
The Dear Lord takes care of me;
I am the child of the Lord.
Consistently and steadily He feeds me;
He never leaves me abandoned.
He overlooks my shortcomings,
And he hugs me to His Bosom.
He blesses me with all that I ask for;
He is the Peace-Giving Father.
He blesses me with the Wealth of Wisdom,
And the Treasure of the Naam;
He has made me worthy of Himself.
He has made me a partner with the Guru,
And now all joy is mine.
My Lord shall never forsake me.
My Lord Father is All-Powerful.
