I have fallen in love with my Beloved.

Such are the bonds of devotion which God has fastened me with:

Breaking, they are not broken.

Letting go, they are not let go.

Day and night the Lord abides within my mind.

Bless me with Your Mercy, O God.

I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, unto my Beauteous Lord.

I have heard His Story and His Sublime Discourse.

Servant Nanak is said to be the slave of His Slaves.

O my Master, bestow Your Mercy upon me.
