Trust God to Work for You

Today I will share with you some human secrets that will shock you. First, I will ask some questions. How many of you want to be divine and experience ecstasy? Almost everybody. Is that true? So if you want it, then why don’t you get it?

Every religion—no matter what you practice—means ecstasy, right? And you want to experience ecstasy—that’s true. You should see through the Third Eye and see above all. That’s a natural human desire. It’s a privilege as a human and the way of prosperity. There’s no denying it. But why don’t you get it? It is not a discipline. That’s the tragedy of it. God has nothing to do with it. There are two ways to live. One way is that you will hustle for prosperity. The other way is that prosperity will come to you . . .

Everything that is right shall come to you. And everything that just looks right shall go wrong for you. There are only two ways. You can check your own life without me saying one word and you will find that this is true. You will grab things in your hand and they will go sour. But when you have nothing to do with it, things will become sweet to you. It’s not trust. Trust is simply that you trust. When your mom says. “This is your father,” you trust it whether you like it or not, so, who cares? . . .

Even if you don’t believe, God will believe in you. Your Creator will come through. Isn’t it simple? If you are a Sikh, every day you say: nothing mine is in me. Everything is yours, Oh Lord. But you don’t believe that . . .  You believe you will be rich. If you don’t believe you will be rich, then you will be rich.

Read the poem I wrote in the book The Man called Siri Singh Sahib:

One day the day shall come

When all the glory will be Thine.

People will say, “It’s yours.”

I shall deny, “Not mine.”

That poem was written when I was dirt poor and Mr. Nothing. People used to say that I prophesized, but I did not prophesize anything. There will be nine hundred sixty million people and there will be a sovereign nation and it’s not for everybody. Some of my benefactors in Hollywood were well-to-do. Once they said, “We can do this, this and this for you. Just come along.”

I said, “No. I have to become what I have to become. I am just a postman. My only job is to take a bag of letters, deliver them and forget it. It’s not my job to go, deliver the letter, open it, read it, translate it and make a person understand it. And then go to the next house. It would take a full day in only one place. That’s not my job.”

You can hate me. You can love me. But when you call on me, I will be there. That’s what you have to believe. What do you have to believe? When there is a call, you are not there. God is. Because God is everywhere and in every way. So what is it that you have to believe? . . .

So there are two theories of life. One is Ik Gunn, and the other is Bahu Gunn. This means God is one, He multiplies. And from multiples, He becomes One. The same applies to you. You are here to watch and God is here to work. You want to do seva (service) for God? No, God will do seva for you. If I say that, the Sikhs will throw me out, but it’s a fact. God is there to be with you.

God is there to create you and God is there creating you. God is there continuing the creativity. That’s the quality of God. But you have to believe it. You are all prosperous. Nature, prakriti, will serve you. When prakriti will serve you, you will have ecstasy. But you have to hold onto purkha. Purkha is that One. When you hold the One everything becomes shuniya—nothing. And all is zero then. So the zeros become ten, a hundred, a thousand, and it goes up to infinity. You have to hold to one thought: God is creative, Ek Ong Kaar . . .

If somehow you can believe or trust that God has created you, then you understand Guru Nanak. That’s what Ek Ong Kaar means. Ek Ong Kaar. This universe is created. This prakriti (nature) is created is by the One. And you are part of that One. Have patience. Wait. Things will start happening.

All prosperity is based on opportunities, correct? And all opportunities have to be cashed in, correct? The opportunities will only be cashed in when the hand of the Creator is behind it. This is the biggest failure of a person—when they put their ego into something. This life is he and her. That’s why you chant. Har, Har, Har. Har is nurturing, creative . .  .

In the Age of Aquarius, what are you? When you will study everything, all books and all practices, and everything; and when God will appear before you and He says, “What do you want?” and you say, “Give me the ultimate knowledge.” What will that be? That purkha (the One) is the source of prakriti (nature).
