About the Artists
Sat Purkh Kaur Khalsa has been singing for as long as long as she can remember. She began in the a cappella Christian tradition and now her music includes many paths but is focused on the Gurbani of Sikh Dharma. A KRI-Certified Level Three Kundalini Yoga Teacher as well as a Lead Trainer in the Aquarian Trainer Academy, Sat Purkh is known for her work in sound and mantra and Humanology. In 2008 she authored Everyday Grace: The Art of Being a Woman. She has recorded 11 albums of sacred music and lives with her husband and their menagerie of animals in southern New Hampshire. When she’s not cooking or hiking, she’s at work on her next album of sacred music.
Abhai Raj Singh Khalsa fell in love with the sounds of Gurbani in Level One Teacher Training with the introduction of Japji Sahib. With more than 20 years of meditation in the Kriya Yoga tradition of Paramahansa Yogananda, Abhai Raj is a Level Two Meditation Teacher in that tradition, and his life is centered around that meditative practice and the sounds of Gurbani.
Together they offer Aquarian Sadhana in community whenever possible and sing the praises of the Naam every day.
