The Psyche of the Golden Shield

The Psyche of the Golden Shield contains a vast collection of treasured hymns and Shabads from the Sikh scriptures that will give you the ability to create and live a life of fulfillment and excellence. These mantric hymns are arranged according to their effect, and a guide to pronunciation is included. The Psyche of the Golden Shield is a practical companion in the yogic art of the Shabad Guru – the experience of the Divine through the word and the sound current called Naad.

The Psyche of the Golden Shield was compiled by Bibiji Inderjit Kaur, English translation was completed by Sardarni Nirbhao Kaur Khalsa and transliteration was done by S.S. Sant Singh Khalsa, M.D. The book contains a wealth of shabads in areas including: home, family, marriage and relationships; fulfillment, prosperity, abundance and wealth; self-realization and personal growth; healing and protection; overcoming adversity and achieving victory; overcoming feelings of loneliness and separation and other areas.

Each shabad should be recited 11 times a day to experience the power of that particular shabad. The minimum each should be done is for 40 days.

Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan said about this book:

It has taken hundreds and thousands of years for these divine shabads to be brought down to the beautiful people of this earth. First given in the most beautiful celestial song of the Divine God in the form of the Japji, the Guru Himself then expanded and supplemented this by reciting the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

In these shabads can be found wonderful philosophy, beautiful messages, and fabulous musical composition – all of which give us moral mental strength, and the alamater of our prosperity, popularity and position in the world at large and in the heavens in particular.

But sometimes, somewhere, there is a conflict in the heavens and their energies. Or perhaps the energy flow to our chakras is insufficient causing a lack in their movement of power clockwise and counter-clockwise, which also affects our in and out flow of our ten bodies which is our realistic composition of our beings.

The human psyche is composed of ten separate interlinked bodies. The perfected human psyche, one which is able to achieve excellence within and without, enables one to interact with the world and with one’s soul with complete ease. The ten bodies are:

  1. Soul Body which gives Humility
  2. Negative Mind which gives Obedience
  3. Positive Mind which gives Equality
  4. Neutral Mind which gives Service
  5. Physical Body which gives Self-Sacrifice
  6. Arcline which gives Justice
  7. Aura which gives Mercy
  8. Pranic Body which gives Purity
  9. Subtle Body which gives Calmness
  10. Radiant Body which gives Royal Courage

Through the perfection of each body the human psyche attains its wholeness. This wholeness gives the human the protection it needs to live fearlessly as the completeness of the psyche warns the human of all dangers forthcoming.

Each technology from the Guru’s teachings (shabad and Siri Guru Granth Sahib) creates and repairs one or more of our ten bodies. The purpose of conscious knowledge that our ten bodies are working to is to produce the most effective functioning  being who can easily deal with life’s challenges. It gives one the super-excellent ability to calculate and live a life of fulfillment and excellence.

So the Guru has given us the “word & shabad” so we can know how to balance the energy of our chakras and ten bodies; so we can overcome the “handicap hazard,” the misfortunes which are only a result of dips of depression in the flow of life. By reciting the shabad , the 84 meridian points are stimulated by the systematic permutation and combination of the tongue to bring balance and energy.

By reciting the sound current, the upper palate is struck, then the hypothalamus energy signal of the pineal gland sends the inward and outward combined signal to the cortex as well as other functioning parts of the brain. These signals are transmitted through the neur-message fluid to bring a fabulous strength to a person.

One is then able to intuitively encounter unfavorable circumstances, times or psyches in what would otherwise be seen as a conflict in our individual lives. We can then face events in such a way that we must excel, we must succeed, and we must have victory. Because there is no substitute for victory and that’s why we say, “Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.”

Therefore God through the Guru has given us the shabad, so that by reciting the Gurbani we can penetrate and shield our being and be successful.

We have had the privilege and blessing to compile a handbook of the shabads, a celestial energy organizing tool. When used correctly following the details enclosed with each shabad , one can assure health, wealth, prosperity and purity at hard times in one’s own life.

I am grateful to God and to Guru and also I appreciate Bhai Sahiba Siri Sardarni Kaur Bibiji Inderjit Kaur and her reliable beautiful associates for their combined efforts to bring this beautiful knowledge of existence to serve us, our community and our grandchildren.

We as a spiritual nation believe that a person of any religious doctrine, whether it be Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, etc., can always use this knowledge, which is useful for all humans to protect ourselves and promote ourselves to victory.
