Bheta

Tere mere bole na tooday ke ardas.  Guru guru wahe guru Guru  Ram  Das.  Aad Guray namey, Jagaad Guray namey, Sat Guray namey, Siri  Guru devay  namey.  Wahe Guru ji ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru ji ki Fateh!

There’s a word in Sikh Dharma and its a very beautiful word,  Its  called Bheta.  Bheta means offering.  Charity or Dhan means what you  give.  Dhan means charity.  Dhan you give to the lower than you.  Dhan you  give to the needy.  Charity you do with the needy or you share with the  others.  Bheta is you give to the superior.  Offering when you are in a  state, you bring an offering to the King.  We bring our offering to the  Guru.  As today is a day we bring our offering to the Guru.  Especially,  normally we bring our offering to the Guru but today we bring our offering  to the Guru with a petition.  And that is a Sikh tradition.  It’s not  something we are doing beyond that Sikh tradition.

Bheta is a very complex situation.  I would like to explain to you,  Bheta justifies the fact that you offer your body, mind, and soul. You  become a martyr.  You become a total sacrifice for the Guru’s cause.   Bheta means you give your wealth, you give your health, you give your  time, you give everything in the world  before anything you believe is  your altar, something you believe  which is higher, something you believe  is a cause.  But, it is all  giving.  Nobody has explained what it means  actually.  The psyche  of the unit self which is called Pranee.  A body of  a human is  given an amount of the pranic breath for which he lives, on  the  space, time measures it.  He lives on the space, and this Pranee,   this unit always starts and ends within that limit of the Prana.

The air, Pavana, is the carrier of that Prana.  There are  five  tattwas.  Akasha.  Akasha is the sublime self.  Akasha is the  sublime  self through which the psyche and the governing self of  the psyche self  is administered.  This is the seat of the God.  Pavana, or air you call  it, carries the strength of the pranic  body to manifest the human in  activity and in inactivity.  It is also the duty of the balance of the  Pavan with the Prana and Apana  that you sleep and rejuvenate within a few  hours.  Your body  excels and continues.  Repair center is within it.

Then comes the most powerful thing.  The fire.  Agana  granthi.  Your  circulation, your heart, your stomach, your  digestive system, your  atmosphere, your growth, the weather, all  that is based on low and high  pressure.  Heat, high and low, it is  administered again by the prana.  By  the air.  Try to understand.

Then comes the water.  Water is the excellence in which you are 60%.   And fluctuation of life and the movement of life is based on the water  which is 60% of you governed by the moon.  Whereas the fire or Agana  granthi is governed by the sun, Hara.  But, the water is still governed by  Prana Pavana, by the currents  of the ocean.  And that is which gives you  what you have to get  through the excellence of the earth.

Then comes the earth. Earth has all the elements in it.  It  has all  the fire, you call it lava, it comes out and when it shows  up you do not  even remember it.  It has the momentum.  Sometimes  the place moves and it  causes the earthquake.  You remember, the  earth is not as permanent as  is, but actually it moves.  And it  keeps moving. There is nothing in this  universe which can live and  not move. There is nothing which is stable  except God.  God is  stable and in movement.  Stable and unstable.

Therefore in this universe of ours, our understanding is based on  these five tattwas.  Five tattwas of understanding.  Can you offer these  five tattwas?  By offering the physical body you can become a martyr.  By  also offering the wealth, you can give yourself the status of a man with  charity.  By giving all what you  have plus time and space, you can become  anything and everything.   But does Guru approve it?  No.

Therefore try to understand Sikh Dharma today in the light of this  fact, Guru tells you to offer yourself to the God at the  instruction of  the Guru that in the ambrosial hours you clean out  your mind, strengthen  your body, and create an understanding with  your soul.  We call it  Sadhana, and just now the Shabd was about  all great things to be in the  company of the Holy one must excel.   That is the highest thing.  And what  is the company of the Holy?   All the time it is being said there are nine  holes in the body.   Company of the Holy is when through your own  consciousness, what  comes in through the holes and gets out the holes you  understand  and you control, you watch , you govern and you are in  command  including the breath of life.

This third eye or Agia Chakra is only that eye which watches  over  you.  This is the conscious eye.  Whenever you think “let us  logically  discuss it”, “let us reasonably discuss it”, that may  give you an answer  or not, but when you will try to consciously  discuss anything within  yourself, you should get the correct  answer.

Key to prosperity in Sikh Dharma is Nam Japo… meditate at  the  ambrosial hours.  Dharma ke kirat karo.  Let the action be  according to  righteousness and dictate of the Dharma.  Vand Chako  share with others in  equal partnership.  Rehit kamao, live by the  instructions of the Guru.   Seva sim balao, serve those who need to be served.  Now the idea of Bheta  is a onetime offering.  You go  before the King, you go before the Guru  and you offer yourself.   That is offering, Bheta.  Dhan you give away the  money, you give  away the charity, you give here, you give there, and  everybody is  taken care of.  But, fortunately for Sikh he offers himself  under  all circumstances in readiness, in alertness, in activity.  While   he sleeps he’s ready; while he’s awakened he’s ready; while he’s  working  he’s ready; while he’s not working he’s ready.  He’s ready  to help the  universe because he’s the King of the universe.  A  King serves his  domain.  We have a very little concept of Bheta.   But in Sikh Dharma it’s a very meaningful word.  We offer  ourselves, to the creation of God.

Do you know what our title is?  Entitlement is Ek Ong Kar.  That One  Creation and the Creator.  We are One Creator’s Creation.   When we  pronounce it, when we announce it, when we believe it,  when we understand  it, we live it… we share it. Then there is  nothing we can restrict  back; and all confusion, unhappiness,  destruction is based upon people’s  own action when they get scared  and they will drop.

“May I, may I not, should I, should I not, can I, can I not.” Because you don’t believe in tomorrow.  You don’t believe the  earth will  rotate tonight and the sun will rise tomorrow.  You  don’t believe the One  who took birth with you.  Actually when we  are born, God is born with  us.  When we die God carries us.  God  has never learned to abandon  anybody.  Can’t afford it.  That One  cannot create the creation and let  it go. His creation is  systematic, is flawless, is harmonious and has no  contradiction.

Just understand, and understand it well.  We get upset.  We allege  people, they lie to us; we allege people, they do not tell  us the truth;  you allege people you are disappointed.  You have a  list from the sky to  the earth, what negative you can do, what  negative people can do to you.   If you multiply the negativity  exchange, you will be surprised what a  huge list you have.

Have you understood in the light of God, is there anything which has  been mismanaged or misrepresented or misunderstood?  Everything is to the  scale…  harmonious.  Time and scale, time  and space, self is selfless  in activity.  Sun is fixed, stars  around their orbit, earth is on its  axle orbit, human life  weathers all or in schedule… with 20% changes.   Axle of the  earth, the psyche of the universal earth which we belong to,  has  20% vibratory change.  That is why, eighteen years is the life   cycle.  Just remember, eighteen years is the life cycle, eleven is  the  intelligence cycle and seven years is the conscious cycle.

So what is the purpose of life, offer yourself to the  consciousness,  and the consciousness offers you to the universe.   That is the  relationship.  Not you offer yourself to the Word, YOU  don’t exist.  The  day you will offer yourself, you’ll destroy  yourself.  Understand it once  and for all. The day you will offer  yourself, you will become weak.   Because you can not afford to  give.  Your body has that energy, partly  given to you at the very  beginning.  Keep it.  That’s the sacred trust.   And when you  always display the sacred trust with distrust, what  happens?  You  get insulted.  You get weak.  You meet failure.  I am  giving with  you, sharing with you the greatest secret what God acts, so  you can act like God. Give yourself to your consciousness and let your   CONSCIOUSNESS give yourself to the Word.  “Guru ki mata leha  mania…”   Take the wisdom of the Guru, Oh ,innocent.  Without  Bhagatee all the people are drowned even though they are very  wise.

Now, what is Bhagatee?  Bhakatee.  Bhaoghatee.  Bhagatee  means  Bhaogatee.  Bhao means the reverence.  Conduct of life in  offering has  the definite rule.  Rule is that you offer yourself  to consciousness, and  then your consciousness offers you.  You  should never offer yourself to  anybody, because nobody belongs to  you and you do not belong to anybody.   You belong to God and God  belongs to you.  You are made in God.  God is  your Creator and you  are His Creation.  Is that an established  relationship?  In all  religion, is it or not?….”
