Raag Dhanasari – Guru Ram Das Ji – Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji – Ang 670
Ichhaa poorak sarab sukh daataa har,

So aisaa har dhi-aa-ee-ai mayray jee-aray,

Halat palat mukh oojal ho-ee hai,
Nit dhi-aa-ee-ai har purakh niranjanaa.
Jeh har simran bha-i-aa teh upaadh gat keenee,
Vadabhaagee har japanaa.
Jan Naanak kau gur ih mat deenee:
Jap har bhavajal taranaa.
Dhanaasaree, Fourth Mehl:
The Lord, the Giver of Peace, is the Fulfiller of desires.
All good fortune comes from Him.
Meditate upon such a Lord, O my mind,
That all peace will come to you.
Chant Sat Naam, O my mind –
Always vibrate Sat Naam.
In this world and in the next,
Radiant is the countenance of the one,
Who meditates on the Immaculate Creator Lord.
Where one meditates on the Lord in remembrance,
From there all misfortune is driven away.
By great good fortune, one comes to chant the Lord’s Name.
Servant Nanak has been blessed with the Guru’s Instructions:
Vibrating the Lord’s Name, He is saved, and crosses over the ocean of existence.
