Prabh joo to keh laaj hamaaree.

O God, only You can maintain my honor.

 

Neel kanth narhar naaraa-in neel basan banvaaree (Rahaa-o).

You are blue-throated Shiva; You are the man-lion; You are Vishnu; You are Baliraam and Krishna (pause).

 

Param purakh parmaysar su-aamee paavan paun ahaaree.

You are the Supreme Being, the Transcendent Lord Master; You are Pure, living on air.

 

Maadhav mahaa jot madh mardan maan mukand muraaree.

You are the Lord of Maya, the Great Light, the Destroyer of the pride of Vishnu.

You are the Bestower of Salvation, and the Destroyer of Mur the demon.

 

Nirbikaar nirjur nindraa bin nirbikh narak nivaaree.

You are Ever-Lasting and do not break down; You are free of evil passions.

You do not sleep, You are our Savior.

 

Kirpaa sindh kaal trai darsee kukrit pranaasanakaaree.

You are the Ocean of Mercy;

You are the Seer of all seers throughout the ages;

You erase evil deeds.

 

Dhanurpaan dritmaan dharaadhar an bikaar asidhaaree.

You carry the bow in Your Hands; You are so very patient;

You are the Supporter of the earth; You are changeless,

You are the Wielder of the Sword.

 

Haao mat mand charan sarnaagat kar geh layho ubaaree. II 3 II 1 II 4 II

I am just a fool, But I seek the Protection of Your Lotus Feet –

Please take my hand and save me!
